Tastings-BRIX Broad Street, Financial District

May 2008
We have our regular “Alive After Five” wine tastings on Thursday from 5 to 7 pm. Our tastings are complimentary, educational, and most of all, fun. Better yet, you’ll taste your wines the same
way we do—out of crystal stemware!

Thurday, May 8th Rhone Winemaker Jérôme Quiot

Join us this Thursday as we host celebrated winemaker, Jérôme Quiot. Owner of Domaine du Vieux Lazaret, Domaine Trignon, and Domaine Houchart, Quiot owns 200 hectares in 3 appellations. Known for his outstanding Châteauneuf-du-Pape, we'll taste wines from all three of his holdings.

Thursday, May 15th Neal Rosenthal Book Signing and Tasting

Leading wine importer, Neal Rosenthal, the author of a just released memoir, Reflections of a Wine Merchant, comes to BRIX to share his experience in the wine business over the last 30 years. Rosenthal, known for importing wines from family owned vineyards in France and Italy, has worked closely with his growers for over three generations. Join us for a book signing and enjoy a rare wine tasting with the master himself.

Thursday, May 22nd Viva Espana!

We have tasted an outrageous amount of new Spanish wine. We'll uncork some of our new finds and old favorites from Spain and guide you through a regional tasting.

Thursday, May 29th The Wines from Importer Louis/Dressner

Another portfolio that we are crazy about is Louis/Dressner Selections. They have a portfolio of over 60 vignerons in Burgundy, Mâconnais, Beaujolais, Loire, Bugey, Jura and Languedoc-Roussillon. We’ll taste wines from their fanatical growers who are doing their best to make wines that are original because they are honestly crafted.
